WCVO (104.9 The River)/Columbus, OH Surpasses Sharathon Goal
WCVO (104.9 the River)/COLUMBUS, OH wrapped up their Spring Sharathon on Friday morning (3/10), surpassing their overall goal before the end of the River Morning Show. The River once again teamed up with Vidare Creative for a successful campaign, including the largest Kickstart total (pre-event giving) in station history. President and CEO, Bill Montgomery, says, "We are so thankful for our listeners selfless generosity! But truly more impactful were stories shared of how God is daily using the River and our CCM artists to comfort the hurting, give hope to the hopeless and encourage their walk with Jesus." In addition to station funding, River listeners helped provide addiction recovery resources to the community through a Sharathon partnership with The Refuge, which operates with the goal to change the lives of men affected by addiction, through Christ."

WGTS 91.9 Sells Out Two TobyMac Shows
WGTS 91.9 just spent the weekend hanging out with over 13,000 of their closest friends at the TobyMac “Hits Deep Tour.” TobyMac grew up in the D.C. area, and the listeners showed up in the thousands to welcome him back. The station hosted a Friday and a Saturday show. Both shows were sold-out in advance, causing the promoter to add more seats on the side of the stage to meet the demand. “We don’t have a lot of artists from D.C., so when TobyMac comes home, we want to go big,” said WGTS morning show host and marketing director Jerry Woods. “We want people to be blessed, and TobyMac and his team share Jesus in the most engaging, not to mention the most energetic, way possible.” Terrian, Cochren and Company, Jon Reddick, Tasha Layton, and Crowder also had the crowd singing and dancing. Each show wrapped up with WGTS contest winners dancing on stage with TobyMac. WGTS This is the second time WGTS has sold out two nights with TobyMac. In 2019, WGTS became the first station to welcome consecutive shows from TobyMac.
