Congratulations to Don Anthony for another successful Morning Show Boot Camp this past week in Chicago.
Above is the pre-panel photo just before DeDe in the Morning moderated Diversity: Radio's Widening Path To Success. The panel included Tino Cochino, Dana Cortez, Shoboy, Kenny Smoov, and Frank Ski.
At many radio conventions, most attendees and speakers are men. Our industry has made slow progress in hiring women for on-air and leadership roles.
It was encouraging to see prominent women like DeDe McGuire and Charese Fruge moderate panels, as well as other notable female panelists including Dana Cortez, Angela Yee, Kristin Klingshirn of The Bert Show, and Susan Larkin.
