I hope your radio station was ALL OVER the story of the week when last Sunday news broke that the hunt of Osama Bin Laden was over.  Of course, if you run a News/Talk station, it dominated your airwaves ... but what about you music guy?

A great local Rock station strung together clips of Obama’s announcement with various other clips to an upbeat bed and ended with “Thanks to Navy SEAL Team 6!”

A local Country station used Lee Greenwood’s “Proud to be an American” and did something similar.

A morning show on a Top 40 station took quick calls from listeners sharing their feelings on the matter.

What did you do?

Please don’t say “Nothing.”

And, please tell me you won’t miss the boat next time with your station reflecting something EVERYONE was talking about, feeling good about, and should also feel that from their favorite radio station!
