John Potter, the head of training at RAB, brought up a good point in a recent Sales Tip of the Day in the Radio Sales Today e-mail newsletter. He said, "It is likely you sit in the same seat at each sales meeting. People exhibit territorial behavior when they take seats in public places, limiting themselves to small areas so they don't have to "renegotiate" seating arrangements with other people, according to a study by the University of Bologna in Italy."
John suggests, "At your next sales meeting, sit in a different place. Your creativity may improve, especially during brainstorming. And creativity is what we need when developing digital revenue and integrated marketing solutions."
This a great point ... give it a shot!
