Okay, if not already, we're about to dive into "annual" season.
I once had one of the biggest clients in my town talk about my direct competitor saying, "I only see him once a year ... when it comes time for the annual." OUCH. Of course, I loved it because I am tight with him. When he said budgets were being cut, he mentioned that competitor not being on the buy but we would "be fine."
Don't be THAT GUY.
See the biggies often and see them well before you start talking about annuals.
In fact, set appointments today and tomorrow and go see them next week. If it's been more than six weeks since you've seen your biggest clients, get out there ... NOW!
