Last week we looked at January and were scared to death ... So you got Friday's pacing numbers and you're still scared or more scared? Well then, here's one suggestion ... back up a holiday.

Make a list of Valentine's Day category relevant advertisers. I'll help: jewelers, restaurants, flowers, gifts, you know....

Find out where V-Day falls next year. Do a package where you get them on at good rates for preceding two weeks, and for doing that, give them the week before that at half-price. You have the inventory and you just helped your January that you're so scared about.
