Don't let this day become an unofficial holiday like these Fridays before short weeks become. Get the department head meetings and meetings of that kind scheduled on days like this in the afternoon vs a Tuesday morning at 10am.

Take a cue from the PPM markets: Weekends, Afternoons and Midday are bigger than AM drive. Get advertisers to use the whole station with a mix of :30s and :60s and they will get better results.

You cannot cut your way to success. You have to be on calls with your people leading by example. The days of the Harvard Investment Bankers running radio are now officially over. The spoils will go to those who make more sales calls pure and simple.

MLK will be a huge new retail holiday. It is a Federal Holiday! Let's have the MLK sales work just like the St. Patricks Day Sales, or other holidays.

Game of bringing new economy folks to radio: Blue Collar advertisers need to be targeted. Go to the grocery store and Home Depot and find products manufactured in your area and call on them now for January.
