Leave early and play golf with a few clients, but come back with a huge new business order on Monday. Make it look easy and fun while corporate screams at you. Coporations always eventually fire people; make sure your termination comes right after a huge win by always remaining in the winning mode.

Absorb 85% of the pain and pass on 15%. As the leader you have to know when to let the heat from the top roll down hill 100% and when to let only 15% of it hit the troops to optimize performance at the street level.

Getting close to final budgets for 2009? Better get that in the rearview mirror fast. Make sure you have a firm grip on what new and outstanding stuff is going to happen and be able to regurgitate it on the drop of dime over the next month or so... And get your Lieutenants to write it down as well so you can start Making it Happen' Cap'en or you will be out by June of '09...There will be a new found respect for a lack of patience in radio in 2009...Things have to improve now Cap'en...Revenue wise or the hedge funds will throw folks out so fast it will make the radio industrys collective head spin.....
