The Spring books are rolling! Have your story ready to go for the rep and local sales, while the competition that will spin it their way. Get a good story together no matter if the book is good or bad. Remember, it's all about the sample. Even the best stations take a bad book every now and then. This does NOT mean you have a bad station. It could just be a bad sample. Don't panic! Do your homework and find out for sure before you react. It could save you thousands in non-productive worry. Planning the company summer picnic? Be careful! Hours of open bar can lead to trouble. You are responsible for everything that happens. Limit the "bar" hours. Make sure to arrange for transportation for the people who become "overserved." Avoid the "day after" issues that may take you to "Lawyerworld." Have I got stories! It's not pretty!
