This week use your restaurant trade to have a manager's meeting away from the office. Remember the good old days when there was T & E budget you could use for internal relations? Well, those days are gone, but the concept of meeting over a meal with your managers to cement relations is still a good one.

Take the Program Directors and Sales Managers out together. Have an agenda for yourself, but don't share it with them. Use the meal to get them talking about ideas. You'll be pleasantly surprised at what happens.

If corporate has a policy preventing you from using trade internally, do what it takes (up to begging) to convince them this is a good idea.
