Last week we looked at January and were scared to death ... So you got Friday's pacing numbers and you're still scared or more scared? Well then, here's one suggestion ... back up a holiday.

Make a list of Valentine's Day category relevant advertisers. I'll help: jewelers, restaurants, flowers, gifts, you know....

V-Day falls on the second weekend of the month this year. Do a package where you get them on at good rates for weeks of 2/1 and 2/8, and for doing that, give them the week of 1/25 at half price. Better yet, get 'em on at good rates the weeks of 1/25, 2/1, and 2/8 and give them the week of 1/18 for free. Oh, just do it. You have the inventory and you just helped your January that you're so scared about.
