The bad weather is on the way. (most places). Is there a school closing announcement policy? How about a "bad weather" clock for the studio? With the temperature dropping, the potential for bad traffic/weather information increases. How about "bad weather" sponsors? Line them up now. Does anyone remember the Campbell Soup "bad weather campaign? When the temp was below 32 and it was snowing they had a spot ready to run. Fixed position, morning drive, great rates as I recall. There is nothing to prevent you from doing the same thing with hardware stores or local "Coffee Houses."

Have you checked the Public File recently? It's one of those things that gets overlooked. Check it. Make sure you have everything from legal. Posted openings and outreach updated? Any FCC permits, letters from listeners? (the good ones) or ascertainment meetings? It all must be there.
