First Friday of the month. By now you should know where you are going to end the month. If corporate calls, can you tell them? And be correct? Remember, if you're wrong too many times they won't believe you anymore. Then when you ask for promotion money, or money for TV they won't believe you either. Oops! Better talk to the Sales Manager again. Do it Now!

Lateness, on air, in sales meetings, for appointments, at any time causes an erosion of trust. Each person on your staff is expected to return calls, reply to e-mails, get reports in on time. The office hours should be followed to the letter. If people see others get away with it, they will assume you don't care. Enforce the policy equally. No favorites

Ok, with all the press on this HD radio stuff, now is the time to call in the chief engineer and ask about it. How much will it cost? When will it happen. Spend 20 minutes. (that's all). Then figure out how you are going to make June. Walk around. Say hi to the accounts receivable department. They miss you.

Last day of the month. How did you do? Are you happy with your bottom line? If not, go through every expense line. Check and see the cost vs. last year. Try to keep all discretional expenses flat or less than 2004.

It's Monday. How many sales calls are YOU going to do this week. I usually do anywhere from 3 to 5. Have the Sales Manager set you up for the week. Do it now.
Summer is just about here. Having a summer concert? How is it going? Is everything buttoned down? Security? Booth Sales? Now is the time to maximize beyond the ticket sales.
