The Spring Book is ON! - The production department is the last line of defense for bad sounding commercials. Get the weak copy, bad quality spots off the air or re-cut. TSL is hard to get. Don't make it any harder with bad commercials.
Good luck to everyone! Here's to a "killer" spring book!

The Spring Book is ON! - Has the engineering department listened to the processing of each station? Any technical issues in the studios? A studio not working properly causes morale problems. Make sure all signals are cranking at full fidelity.

The Spring Book is on! Are your stations planning to be visible through the entire book? Remotes, concerts, jock appearances must all be planned. Get the colander and review. Make sure the vans are all working, clean, and accurate with their "rolling message."

The Spring Book is on! Is your marketing department ready. How would you rate your confidence level in the marketing you have planned? Is the proper amount planned for each station? (usually - never) Are your brands being clearly defined with your marketing? Make the adjustments this week. It's your last chance.

The Spring book is on. Is your programming department ready? Here are a few questions for the PD's.
1. On a scale of 1 to 5, how would your PD rate the overall sound of the station today? (less than 4? uh oh!)
2. How is the music? Is any research (music test) fully implemented? it should be by now.
Tomorrow, marketing.
