Winter books have been rolling out, do you have a coordinated plan on how you break out all the spring book information and distribute it to the sales department, the market and your clients. Take control of the way in which the information is presented, remember, you don't want your competition "spinning" or "positioning " the spring book to "your" clients.

Do you have all of your spring promotions and revenue locked up? Walk back into the promotions department and look at the event calendar to see if the stations are going to be active. Compare promotional activity to revenue during the two weeks of "Spring Flings", I bet you will find a correlation, good or bad.

HD radio is starting to roll out for several companies, I know one GM who got a call last week from his corporate engineer telling him that because his transmitter was due to be replaced that he will now be receiving a HD transmitter. He will now have up to five channels to fill with content. Are you ready for that call?

Do your homework on FM talk, after the Jack, Bob and Dave wave hits every market there is going to be the next "right answer". For those of you with the second or third rated rock station in the market, this could be your growth engine for 2006.
