Is all the software on your station computers licensed? I know it's expensive, but it's important and necessary. Unlicensed software can expose the company to legal action and unnecessary expense if discovered. Have your "IT" person check.

I suggest this every quarter. Once again it's time to review the public file. Make sure the person in charge has all files complete & updated. EEO recruiting is documented & up to date. Post all openings first. Many forget this. The FCC doesn't.

Thanksgiving is a little more than a month away. The time to set the remote schedule is now. Have a package/plan on the street by Friday.

By now you should know where your year is going to come out. How was your performance? Overall if you were 10% or more ahead of last year (Cash flow) you did a great job. 5-10% was pretty good. 0-5% will keep you in the job, but don't look for a raise, and below last year? Well, if it's a one time event you'll be ok. If this is you're second year of no growth, better get the resume updated.

Do you manage one of the clusters that has money for research? Set the dates for 2006 with the research company this week. You'll get the best dates to have your data back in time for the spring & fall book.
