Do something different today that may surprise someone and make a real impression.
- Take someone you rarely talk to on your staff out for coffee this morning or maybe even lunch. Ask lots of questions. You WILL learn something.
- Drop in on a key retail client, like a car dealership, with a tray of bagels first thing in the morning. Make sure you see the GM and the Sales Manager and that there is a card with it that say compliments of "your station."
- Send a few hand-written notes to the home addresses of employees who have gone above and beyond lately.
- Call five clients out of the blue and thank them for their business
You get the idea ... the little time it will take to do any of the above WILL make a great impression!
