Do you know about QR codes?
Here’s what they look like:
QR codes -- or quick-response codes, a form of 2-D bar code -- can be delivered as texts. Shoppers download a QR-code reader; one example is ScanBuy. Then, using that reader, they snap a picture of the code, which triggers content to pop up. There are abundant in-store signs and many stores have employees armed with containing instructions on how to use the codes.
What a great way for you to mobilize your audience on behalf of your clients. Big companies like Macy’s, Home Depot, Best Buy and Target, (most of which are big radio users) are putting QR codes to work for them.
Work with your partners and develop station or personality specials, games, contests, and so on.
Looking for a way to boost your on-line revenue ... look into QR codes!
