Nielsen has conducted research into the tablet market to find out about how that market is developing. The key findings are iPad’s overwhelming market share and the fact that tablet’s are already starting to push other devices aside. The survey, done this spring, shows that the iPad has 82% of the market, with Motorola’s Xoom and the Samsung Galaxy Tab being the other key devices. The iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G noses out the Wi-Fi-only iPad for top tablet dvice.
