Distracted Driving? There's An App For That

JustApps has developed an Android app that will, paradoxically, tackle the problem of drivers who are distracted by using their mobile devices. It’s a big problem as more states continue to ban texting and calling (without a hands-free device). The National Safety Council now says that 30% of all auto accidents involve distracted driving due to such devices.

JustApps “JustDrive” app approaches the problem is a different way than other apps. Some of the other apps work by locking the user’s phone while driving. JustDrive creates log of usage and will notify the administrator (a parent, company, spouse, etc.) when a violation has occurred. The app can sense how fast the user is moving, so it can also be used to provide notices for speeding violations and other situations.
