Facebook Losing Friends?

It seems that fewer people are liking Facebook these days, at least in North America and a few other countries around the world. Worldwide growth for the company continues to be impressive, as the service nears 700 million users, but its popularity may have peaked in North America. May figures shows that Facebook lost 6 million users in the US, and another million and a half in Canada.
Smaller drops were also noted in the UK, Russia and other countries. But even with the drops in usage, this means that nearly half the populations of the US and Canada are users, a phenomenal number. And Facebook isn’t done growing. In developing countries such as Mexico (+7.6%), Brazil (+10%), India (+6.7%) and Indonesia (+4%), Facebook’s growth continues to be strong.
