One Two Turntables and a Mobile App Microphone

Turntable.fm has taken several more steps forward toward mass appeal exposure. Besides completing a new funding round, the social music service has just dropped the invitation-only stipulation for membership. At the same time, they've launched their new mobile app. Over 600,000 people have already signed up, and more are expected with the big buzz that it's generated in the music community, combined with these moves to open up the service to everyone.
