Spotify Conversion in the US

Six months ago as Spotify prepared to launch in the US, it was announced that there would be a limited period where users were allowed unlimited streaming on the free service. That was set to expire earlier this month, though Spotify still has not limited non-paying users to the originally specified 5 streams/song or 10 hours/month. Can't say we blame them - according to Paid Content, all stats (including users, active users and subscribers) are on the rise for the streaming service.
