Cool Tech: iCache Geode

One of our favorite new products the come out of the digital week at SXSW this year is the iCache Geode, a new twist on digital wallets. The Geode is an iPhone case that replaces all of your credit cards and loyalty cards. For $199 you can purchase the Geode, download the app, and start swiping. The back of the Geode has a rewritable e-ink bar code that morphs into whichever loyalty card you need to use. The credit card module is a separate card – that mounts on the back of the case. This card also has a rewritable bar code to become any credit card you need. Additional security is provided by the Geode's fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the device.
