Bashing BlackBerry and its parent company, Research In Motion, has been a trendy tech sport over the last couple of years. The trends for Blackberry sales have been more than just worrying, the stock has plummeted, and RIM has gone through serious corporate upheavals. On May 1st the company announced plans for the launch of BlackBerry 10, perhaps the last chance for RIM to reverse its slide. At their press event, RIM announced some new features of the BlackBerry interface, as well as a more aggressive drive to court app developers, rolling out a $10,000 app guarantee. RIM is guaranteeing app developers that they would make $10,000 in their first year of release. Read more details about what RIM is hoping to do from Reuters.
