A Web Version of Spotify?

Evolver posted a great article this week on the reported web makeover of Spotify, and on why they think the company would move away from their desktop success. Speculations include: 1) Spotify is trying to further differentiate themselves from iTunes, and 2) Along with many early HTML5 believers, they might be trying to utilize the web as "the ultimate app platform."
