Lucasfilm + Disney

In their second biggest merger since Capital Cities in 1995, Disney acquired Lucasfilm this week for a staggering $4.05 billion. This, along with their 7.6 billion purchase of Pixar in 2006, proves once again the Disney is willing to shell out the big bucks for quality, big-name content. And it doesn't look like Disney is wasting any time with their new rights to the Lucasfilm brand - they plan on making yet another Star Wars film in 2015.
