MySpace Allegedly Hosting Unlicensed Indie Music

The recently revamped MySpace came under some heat this week when indie rights music licensor Merlin announced that they have discovered unlicensed music by labels that they represent on the site. MySpace says that they have consistently alerted offending posters and have had no issues removing unlicensed songs from the site, but Merlin is planning to hit them with a legal response.
