HBO Go and Max Go Add Support for Apple's Airplay

HBO has finally announced that its HBO Go and Max Go (from its sister channel Cinemax) will be available through Airplay, Apple's system that lets people stream apps from their iPhone and iPads to other devices. HBO Go and Max Go allows users who subscribe to HBO and Cinemax to view content from those services through mobile devices. Previously, if you tried to hook your iPad to your big screen TV, you saw an on-screen message saying that streaming from your Apple device to another device was not permitted. This is significant as the HBO Go and Max Go apps contain content that goes well beyond what's available even through On Demand services.
