Microsoft to Convert Hotmail Accounts to Outlook

In their bid to compete with Google and other popular email providers, Microsoft announced this week that it is planning on converting 267 million Hotmail accounts to their popular email service 'Outlook.com'. The switch will cost at least $30 million, and should be completed by this summer. Sources are also reporting that Microsoft is "financing what it believes to be is the biggest marketing blitz in the history of email", which would feature ads on TV, radio stations, websites, etc. Read the full story here.
