Nielsen Expands Definition of TV Viewing

Last week Nielson agreed to expand their definition of TV viewing to include a system to measure broadband, Xbox iPads (in the future), and more. The goal of the more comprehensive system is to capture all video viewing, not just viewing captured by the traditional TV rating measurement system. Nielson hopes to have the new measurement tools in place by fall 2013, just in time for the start of the next TV season. Read the full story here.
