YouTube to Launch Music Streaming Service?

Fortune released a report this week which claims that a much rumored YouTube music streaming service will soon become a reality. The service would, much like Spotify and Pandora, offer listeners the option to choose between an ad-supported model and a paid subscription version. Another media giant also rumored to be entering the music streaming service space is Apple – and some think that they introduction of these cash-heavy companies may mean a major future increase in royalty rates for smaller ventures like Spotify.
