Downloading Isn't Dead

A study done by NPD Group this week showed that digital music sales are still dominated by iTunes downloads. iTunes constituted 63% of digital music purchases in the fourth quarter of 2012, followed by Amazon at 22%. Amazon continues to grow steadily though, having seen at least 3% increases in sales every year since 2008.
