Demi Lovato Uses Twitter Popularity to Unlock New Album

This week Demi Lovato and her camp did something a bit novel to promote her new album – they offered fans the chance to unlock songs from her upcoming album a week before its debut if they "tweeted like crazy".

The instructions were simply to retweet (in hashtag form) song titles that were announced via a special website set up for the PR stunt.

And tweet they did... by the end of the day on Tuesday the entire album had been unlocked and is available for all to stream on YouTube. Read more about Demi's successful Twitter campaign here.
