YouTube to Roll Out New Channel Design

YouTube recently announced plans to roll out new channel designs for all of its publishers on June 5th. According to Gigaom, the new designs are "the first step to towards a bigger goal of unifying YouTube's design across all platforms." Several preview shots taken from I/O last week also seem to indicate that YouTube is aiming to unify the subscribe button across all platforms, no doubt in an effort to push the subscription content that they have devoted so much effort to.
