Yahoo Bidding $600M-$800M on Hulu?

Various sources reported over the weekend that Yahoo is bidding somewhere between $600 million and $800 million for the premium video site Hulu. They have apparently proposed a range of different offers for varying scenarios – which include factors like licensing rights for content and control of the programming companies selling Hulu. According to All Things D, the deadline for initial bids has now passed, and other companies trying to acquire Hulu include Silver Lake Partners, Time Warner Cable, and Directv.
