MTV Using Instagram and Vine Video to Announce VMA Nominees

MTV announced this week that they plan on using Instagram and Vine video to reveal the nominees for their Video Music Awards, which will take place on August 25th. The first video nominees will be revealed at 8am ET today, with additional nominees being named every following hour throughout the day. Last year, MTV used Instagram photos to similarly reveal information about this year's VMAs, and the stunt was very successful.
