Intel's Plans to Create a DVR

It was rumored earlier this year that Intel is working on a project to shake up the traditional TV industry, and more details on their plans to do so were revealed this week by Business Insider. The company is reportedly working on a new DVR that will "record every piece of programming aired – local, national and international – and store it for at least 3 days in the 'cloud'." If Intel's DVR has a high quality interface and software, it could certainly be major threat for competitors like Comcast and Time Warner. Read more about Intel's plans for TV here.
