Rdio Partners With Cumulus Media

Terrestrial broadcaster Cumulus Media and music-subscription service Rdio announced a much-talked about partnership together this week. According to Evolver, the deal is mainly about "an old-school music company insuring itself against the rising digital tide, while giving a new-school company a chance to reach music fans who have yet to "go (fully) "digital," for free." Cumulus will broadcast ads and sell ads for Rdio, and Rdio will get access to Cumulus' radio programming. Read more about the Rdio Cumulus deal here
