Apple Sells 9 million iPhones Opening Weekend

Apple announced on Monday that they sold 9 million iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c units last weekend. This is a new record for Apple's launch weekend sales – last year's release of the iPhone 5 only sold 5 million units in the same time span. The company also announced that over 200 million devices are now running the new iOS7 update, which, according to TechCrunch, makes it "the fastest software upgrade in history".
