Nielsen to Include Mobile TV Viewing Into Ratings

Nielsen announced this week that beginning next month they will be providing software kits to clients that will enable them to incorporate mobile-TV viewing into ratings. In order to do so, the kit will "enable measurement to follow content across screens and ad models". If the content being viewed on a digital device does not meet ad load and timeline requirements, it will be included only in the Nielsen Digital Ratings.
