MTV Launches New Music App

This week MTV released their much anticipated MTV Artists app for iOS. The app, which is free, allows users to ID songs, search for lyrics, get artist info at a glance, view retro archive footage, access exclusive content, and buy songs and tickets. It also has several features that promote artist discovery, including a Sound ID feature which allows users to ID songs that they might be listening to (similar to Shazam or Soundhound).
