Microsoft + the Cable Box

Much of the talk surrounding advances in gaming consoles this year has been their ability (or lack of) to compete with cable boxes. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony have all attempted to integrate cable box-features into new consoles, with lackluster results. But TechCrunch believes that two new features in the Xbox One, an HDMI pass through and a built-in TV guide, should give cable providers reason to worry.
