Average Value of a Fan

Topspin has developed a new feature to try and determine the average value of a fan to a band "over the life of their relationship". Some of their more interesting results: fans who give a band their email address are worth about $3.78, and fans who get free music for sharing their email with a band are 11 times more likely to purchase music from that band.
