Comcast + Time Warner Merge

Big news was announced this week with the official purchase of Time Warner by Comcast for $45 billion. The merging of these 2 cable giants could have a lot of implications - from potential loss of subscribers to scrutiny by U.S. antitrust regulators. One thing is for sure though, the purchase will give the already massive Comcast "even more leverage over the country's marketplace for television, broadband Internet and phone services."
