Apple Announces New CarPlay System

At the Geneva Motor Show yesterday, Apple unveiled the rebranded version of iOS in the Car – a new system that the tech giant is calling CarPlay. The system is built to convert users' in-car entertainment system into a full iOS dashboard, and has been expanded to work in more auto brands than ever before. According to TechCrunch, the expansion in compatible vehicles means that "Apple will soon have direct access to a platform expansion that could put its products and software front and center in potentially over 15 million new places annually".
