Social Media Use Drives EDM Success

Ticketing platform Eventbrite released a very interesting study last week on the social media habits and influence of EDM fans. Among other things, the study found that EDM fans tweet on average 11 times per day, they post about EDM 52% more than other music fans, and in general that social media was a key factor in differentiating EDM fans from fans of other genres.
