RIAA Annual Report Findings

This week the Recording Industry Association of America released their annual report. Some of the more interesting findings included: Streaming music revenue in the US grew 39% in 2013 (and made up 1/5 of the recorded music business), sales from physical formats dropped 12.3%, and digital downloads declined 1% last year (suggesting music consumers may be shifting away from ownership and towards streaming).
