Netflix + Comcast Clash Over Net Neutrality

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings made headlines this week when he criticized cable giant Comcast on their attempts to turn the Internet to a tiered service that would allow customers who pay more to have better internet access. The comments come from Hastings as Comcast waits to hear if their proposed $42 billion acquisition of Time Warner will receive regulatory approval – which would give the company control of broadband in a whopping 1/3 of US homes.
