Facebook Purchases Oculus

Huge news in the tech world last week – Facebook purchased Oculus, a virtual reality headset company, for a reported $2 million. Oculus will continue to operate independently, but Facebook "plans to use its technology for communications, media and other forms of entertainment", and essentially utilize the technology as a social platform.
